First you hear the booming voice, and then you hear the contagious laughter, yup, you just met Bibi Roberts Jr.  I have known Bibi Roberts Jr. and his family for over 30 years.  Since he and I were classmates from the 3rd grade through our second year of college, I can say that I have had a front row seat to watch his growth and development into the strong principled family man that he is today.  I do not believe in coincidences, and I can unequivocally say that the man that Bibi is today is no coincidence, it is a direct result of the strong principles and values that his parents instilled in him while we were growing up.

In his adult working life Bibi has always worked in roles that were dedicated to helping people.  I remember visiting Bibi when he lived in Lexington, KY many years ago, during the visit he took me by the alternative school where he worked as a social worker.  What struck me then and has stayed with me over the years, was the excitement and enthusiasm that the students and staff alike showed for Bibi as we walked around the school.  Even though they had seen him the day before, they behaved like they hadn’t seen him for a few weeks.  I have seen many people from many different walks of life have this reaction to Bibi as they interacted with him.  In my mind his ability to positively impact the lives of other people is legendary.  

Over the years as friends often do, I have consulted with Bibi on important matters and one of the things I most appreciate about having the ability to do this, is that he is a straight shooter.  When I am in  a tight spot, and in need of a second opinion, the last thing I want is someone who tells me what they think I want to hear, I need an honest assessment, I know that in talking to Bibi – I will get his honest opinion.

If you are looking for someone to motivate you, someone that will get you to turn that mirror to the uncomfortable angle required to take a good look within yourself, Bibi Roberts is your man.  In addition to helping you be introspective, which we all have to do in order to make those life journey course corrections required to stay on course, Bibi with his uplifting personality will help you find the inner strength needed to take that next step.  His enthusiasm for life is infectious and with his lifetime of experience helping people, he will inspire you while guiding you around the corners and crossroads of your individual journey.
